How credits work
Credits are a simple in-app balance. Paid practice games and PGN Scout searches each cost 1 credit. New paid weakness reveals remain closed during final coach review. You can earn more or top up any time at $1 = 1 credit. Credits never become cash; they keep you on the platform.

Search by games
Run a PGN search when you have game samples and want Chessco to shortlist public accounts with similar opening choices. Results are preparation leads, not confirmed identity.
Paid leak review in progress
New paid weakness reveals will open only after the current recommendations pass final coach review. Already revealed weaknesses remain available.
Get a human partner
Publish a credit-funded practice challenge from any position. You reserve 1 credit per requested game, and the player who completes it receives 1 credit.
How to earn or add credits
The 10 signup credits land after email verification. After that, grow your balance on any plan by linking accounts, helping players practice, or inviting friends. You can also top up.
Link your chess accounts
Link your chess.com / Lichess account and earn 10 credits per platform, one time each.
Help players practice
Accept credit-funded practice challenges from the lobby. You receive 1 credit for each completed game, subject to anti-abuse caps. Top helpers climb the Hall of Fame.
Invite a friend
Earn 20 credits for every friend who signs up with your link and verifies their email. Capped at 5 friends (100 credits lifetime).
Top up
Buy credits any time at $1 = 1 credit, starting from 5 credits. Topped-up credits never expire.

Important credit rules
Monthly subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle. Signup, referral, link-bonus, practice-reward, and topped-up credits do not expire. Referral credits are capped at 100 lifetime (5 friends) per account. Linking your chess.com / Lichess account earns 10 credits per platform, one time each.

Can clubs invite members?
Yes. Club includes 25 total seats, roles, invitations, credit allocation, shared playbooks, assignments, and progress. Extra monthly seats cost $4 each and add capacity only.
